Have you ever wondered why so many people are traveling writers? Well, after I retired I bought a motor home, and I traveled around the country. After seven years I had been to every single city in the country and all the states. One thing I noticed is that I was often inspired by the new sights, sounds, and all the people I met along the way, the different businesses, the change in landscape and scenery, the museums, and the interesting eateries. Sometimes I would take a hike, cross a large highway bridge over a river, and I'd be inspired to sit down and write some more.
